Employee Counseling: Some emotional issues are not easily left at home. You need a convenient way of helping employees maintain productivity in a non-threatening manner. Counseling can take place in your office or ours. Third party confidentiality is often a major contributor to your employee's comfort with an EAP. We help to resolve those issues that can be addressed within the contracted number of sessions or, for longer-term issues, we help your employee connect with community resources for ongoing support. Supervisor Consultation:
Many supervisors prefer consultation with others when addressing employee issues. Our Employee Assistance professionals provide an objective perspective and offer recommendations for employee performance improvement and growth Every supervisor has had the experience of wondering how to handle the emotional issues of an employee. Do you give them time off? Do you threaten them with job loss? Consulting with your EAP professional can give you options about how to use adaptive strategies to maintain good employees. Some of these might include temporarily restructuring work assignments or using Employee Counseling within a performance improvement plan.
